People inserting themselves into conversations
- Extremely irritating, especially if you don’t have anything helpful or positive to add. I am not Taylor Swift at the 2009 VMAs, and you are not Kanye.
- Unless the people having the conversation are about to do something illegal, or something that will endanger themselves or others, just shut up. Mind your own beeswax, stay in your lane, etc.
Chipotle vs. Qdoba vs. Moe’s vs. Hot head Burritos
- Disclaimer: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/e56MuzEGZm4
- Chipotle has the most user-friendly menu as well as the best non-bean plant-based protein option. On a good day, their guac can really hit the spot. The rewards program used to be amazing, but I think they’ve gotten stingier with extra points.
- I’ve heard Qdoba has great queso. Something about the spice blend they use on their fajita veggies just rubs me the wrong way, though. And their bowls aren’t as big as Chipotle’s.
- The free bag of chips and unlimited salsas at Moe’s are nice, but their tofu is bland and their bowls are small.
- Sometimes I crave Hot head Burritos because they have so many sauces- can’t go wrong with Cholula. They also have “little bowl” and “little burrito” options if you don’t want to get a large bowl/burrito for whatever reason. The catch: there are only 81 locations, and most of them are in Ohio.
- TL;DR: Chipotle is the best fast casual Mexican-inspired chain.
Eyebrow threading
- Threading is a common eyebrow grooming technique used in the Middle East and South Asia. My mother has been nagging me to get my brows threaded for years, but I’ve never done it.
- First off, threading looks like it hurts. I’ve seen people cry while getting it done. Second, I wouldn’t like giving a stranger control over my eyebrow thickness/shape. What if they made my poor brows look like Caillou’s head? Hair doesn’t grow back overnight. Well, at least not brow hair.
